Plum - River's Early Prolific
Description:Rivers Early Prolific, also known as Early Rivers is a popular dessert variety. As the name suggests, a good heavy cropping early season plum. Produces very attractive small, bluish-purple fruits that have a lavender bloom of good quality. Flesh is golden yellow, rather firm, juicy, sweet and of good flavour. Pleasant when picked and eaten fresh from the tree or when baked into desserts. The fruit often sweetens the longer it's left on the tree. Stunning white scented blossom appears in the spring.
